“Remember, you are only human”

Robin Sharma shared this example in his book “The 5 AM Club”:

“When a warrior returned victorious from a major battle, he was greeted by people celebrating his victory on the roads as he rides on the chariot into the city gate. Yet, amidst the echoes of people shouting his name, an unlikely comrade travelled alongside whispering in his ear, ‘You are only human.'”

And how true is that, regardless of how great your day may seem today. Perhaps your business results for the last financial year were brilliantly lacking, possibly there are people who recognize your good work and appreciate you, possibly you have thousands of engagements on your social media handle, possibly you feel all fit and athletic but one health condition can roll a lot of our wuccess stories aside !

let me be the comrade that whispers to you, “Remember, you and I are only human.” Today might be a great day where our names echo through the R & R board or where people will salute you for the latest gizmo you have. But if there is sunshine today, there will be cloudy days too, there will be rains too.

If you feel in charge today, tomorrow might surprise you and me with uncertainty we may not expect. I know, “I don’t want to break your happy mood,” but the more grounded we stay, the more humility we bring to our character deep within—which most cannot see. It will help us to “stay calmer” and more chilled in times when things may not look as great as they do today.
When I speak at places with thousands listening to my message, I definitely feel glad. When people come and appreciate, but I am just a mere human. There is an entire universe, and I AM NOT THE CENTER of it by any chance. We coexist by being grateful for the efforts and recognition we might get, But as humans, we realize that grace also plays a part which has nothing to do with our good work. I remind myself “I am only human.” , what about you
